Final version of the sketch found in my scraps somewhere. When I took the finished pen/marker drawing into Photoshop, I had the afterthought of a jungle (done while listening to the StarFox Adventure soundtrack.. very jungle/tribal, LoL) so now it looks like a guardian spirit of the Earth.. or something.
It looks like a lot of Photoshop but it's not - a majority of the texture comes form the marker, so I think this is a traditional drawing. A new favorite of mine, methinks.
